CACFP Responses to COVID-19: Lessons Learned, Residual Issues, and Outstanding Concerns

COVID-19 impacted the way we do almost everything, including how CACFP advocates, sponsors, and providers, deliver services, conduct outreach, and retain child care, afterschool, and adult-care programs in CACFP. USDA flexibilities and federal relief granted during COVID-19 have helped to address challenges and many should be continued beyond the pandemic. In this session participants will gain insight to lessons learned from COVID-19 and the issues that remain. This interactive session will provide opportunity to voice concerns and ask questions regarding emergency funding payments and other provisions of the latest COVID-19 relief bill.
