The History of Provider Appreciation Day goes back to 1996, in New Jersey. A group of volunteers saw the need to recognize the tireless efforts of providers. Year to year, celebrations and support have grown to include recognition by advocates, organizations and government agencies across the country with proclamations signed by many state governors, including our own.
